Jonathan Maoz is a multi-talented creative force in the world of cinema based in Los Angeles.
He was born and raised in the city of Jerusalem, Israel. Jonathan has proven his prowess as a Director, Screenwriter, DOP and video editor. He is the owner of Jonathan Maoz Video Production. Jonathan is a proud graduate of Bezalel Academy at The Screen Based Arts department, where he earned his first degree (BFA) with honors.
Jonathan's remarkable talent has been duly recognized, with his films earning accolades at national and international awards and festivals.
Jonathan Maoz Video Production excel at many productions types and had the honor of working with the biggest names such as Adidas, Ray-Ban, El-Al Airlines, Sunglass-Hut, Vans, Coockies and more.

Dr. Yaacov Maoz, the son of Kurdish immigrants, embarks on a mission at age 60 to revive the Aramaic language in Israel, challenging misconceptions about it being Kurdish. He uncovers forgotten history, faces family and community resistance, and gains recognition among the Assyrian diaspora, reshaping the Kurdish community's identity.
